Ended My Race

Wef 16 Dec 2008, I had OFFICALLY transferred to the new department. In fact, I had started the work on a half daily bais since 1st Dec. The last 2 days at my old department were extremely busy. I received last minute arrow that I was suppose to resume all work duties for Friday & Monday so to release the contract staff (whom was suppose to replace me), help help in another team with their month end closing.

With numerous errors happening the week before, all work was piling up. In fact, 1 whole week were was left till the last 2 days for me to do. I worked till 9:30pm on my "last day". I could have walked out of it without finishing my work (like some other people) but pastor had often taught us to be a good finisher. I left the place with no burden but was a pity that I was unable to have a proper goodbye session with my peer. We had a team lunch on Thursday & a tea session on Friday. But not everyone was present. My ex-AD was not around despite paying $150 for the Delifrance Hi-Tea. Hehehehe.

Was suppose to go around to thank them but was really too busy with work. So yesterday, I ordered Yami Yoghurt for both my new dept & my old dept. Barely a few days into my new dept, I got tremendously lotsa emails. More than 500 mails still storing in my Lotus notes UNREAD! I hope to scn thru as much as I can by tomorrow.

Feeling a little stressed for I am a perfectionist & hope to acheive minimial mistakes even tou I'm new there. For these 2 days, I had already made 5 minor careless mistakes. Very often, I don't like to be chased after (in term of work). I was really kan chiong when my supervisor kept pushing me to send out some numbers this aftnoon. I hope to be more focused & no room for mistakes. Excellence!!!! I must pray for efficiency & accurancy at work.

Work aside, in my earlier post, I mentioned that I had to set my printer up to do something important. Not being able to disclose too much details earlier, as it was suppose to be surprise for a dear friend of mine- Carcar. Together with my otehr dear friends- Tink & Mich, we plotted to made her a scrapebook that is memorable & filled with loves & surprises. Pictures which she might have forgotten & moments captured from the days she 1st came to Sg, knowing us & befriending us.

So here it is... enjoy....

The different moments with Carcar

The tears, fun, joy, laughters

Our note for her (1st one from the left: Mich did hers only after I took the photo)

Gals party on her actual day. Could see Carcar almost teared when she saw the scrapebook.

Earlier I also mentioned hat I had finished sortd out all my 1000 wedding day photos. I even decorated the cover with some basic bookscraping.

I took about 1 week to sort them out. Burnt lotsa midnight oil.

Been busy with making X'mas card recently. Just a few days to finish. Hopefully I can make as much as possible. :S

Here's the preview... more are coming its way....

Till the next time I blog, Merry X'mas & Happy New Year!
