My September

Before the adult retreat to JB Sofitel, I was busy doing makeup. Saturday morning, did Esther & her aunt's makeup. It was fast & quick, as they both had really short hair. On Sunday, I went to East Coast & did Chloe's friend's makeup. The gals surprised the bride-to-be with a professional make-up service!

Next, I rushed to town to do another makeup for my client, Jasmine. After a few hiccups earlier, we finalised to have a simple high bun. Overall, I am happy with her look & hair. Hope she's satisfied too.

After doing Jasmine's makeup, I rushed home to wash up & change. Put Miu Miu @ mummy's place & went for Huishan & Gilbert's wedding. Everyone was really busy. Hence, did not catch up with much people except my 2 CG friends, Faith & Jess. Managed to take photo with Sharon & Tink too.

After the wedding dinnter on Sunday, Mich came home with us to bunk in for a night. Early morning @ 6am, we headed to Jurong West Church & made our way to JB via the Tuas 2nd Link Causeway.

Super tired & exchausted, both Bao Bei & I were having extreme headache & fatigueness. We hid in our room & slept through the afternoon. After that, a few of the members & us went for a game of bowling & pool.

After the games, we headed back to the conference room for dinner & game. Rested for the night, the next day, Bao Bei went to play Paintball & kena 4 buises,haha. We catched the 1pm coach after our lunch & headed home to rest. I managed to squeeze some time out to do some housework & laundry. Packed our bag for the next trip before bedtime.

On Wednesday, we went over to mummy's place, while Bao Bei went to dine with his ex colleagues. I had dinner with Ah Yee, Mummy & Brother @ Queenstown Hawker Centre. Slept over @ mummy's place for the night, and poor Miu Miu misses us again.

Flew in to HCM on Thursday morning, we checked into our rooms & walked over to Ben Thanh Market for lunch. Nothing to do for Day 1 as everyone was tired. We rested in our rooms till evening & walked around the district while waiting for daddy to travel over from Can Tho. Daddy managed to reach @ 10pm & we headed for supper @ a Chinese Restuarant.

The next day, we managed to catch my ex CG mbr & her hubby - Ha & Li Ren for dinner @ a yummy seafood restaurant. I believed the food is quite pricy but very popular among the more well-to-do locals. We had a great time catching up. This photo is taken @ a coffeeplace after our dinner. The food was so delicious that we had no time to take a group photo. Hahaha...

Ha & Li Ren shown us another beautiful side of the City. And it was amazing to see how well planned & developed it was. HCM is really a wonderful place. It is so different from what we saw from TV, the news and the internet. Truly, before we went there, we had little expectation of the city, but now, we see the city with a different view and a better understanding.

My family & I enjoyed ourselves very much during this trip. We went to so many different markets but most of all, it's the bonding I had with my mum after the big quarrel we had a few months ago. Our relationship improved since the day I moved out. Maybe like what we always say absence made the heart fonder.
